Through September 2009, consumer bankrupcy cases have already reached the one million filing mark, the highest first three quaters since 2005, the year the bankruptcy laws changed under the Bankruptcy Abuse Precention and Consumer Protection Act. It will certainly be interesting to see what the total number will be at the end of the year.
